The Christmas Song
“The Christmas Song” showcases Laura Brunner’s Ella Fitzgerald-like scatting ability and pure vocal power. The arrangement starts with Laura singing a haunting cappella intro, followed by various instruments coming in one by one. By the time the bridge is reached, the full band is playing with an all-out swing feel, and the arrangement continues to build from there.
