Route 66

Danny Fratina’s arrangement of “Route 66″ is slow and bluesy and allows vocalist Jen Hirsh to stretch out and really show her stuff on one of her favorite songs to sing.  For the first four years, the band played a commercially-available arrangement of this song before getting tired of it and wanting something more challenging and expressive. Here’s a live performance video of Jen Hirsh singing the new version with the band at a gala:
